Tzeench Lord on Disc

This model so cool. When I saw it as a pre-release I wanted to paint it immediately. While I am still not sold on the bladed disc, as a whole model it is fantastic.
When I built it I got rid of the plastic pole by modeling a flame trail. This accomplished a few things, it allowed me to tie the idea of the flaming disc to the rider and also the lava base to the disc. I imagine that the disc had just been skimming over a lava flow when the rider spotted something and commanded it to turn and investigate. As they ascend they are still trailing a path of flame due to the heat.

The fire and lava was done with Blood Red as the base and then I worked it through orange, yellow and finally white. This makes a very striking if unnatural looking flame.
