SOLD MODELS

COMMANDER THEROS
Usually I shy away from doing chapter specific marines since I like models that can fill a roll in many armies.  However, this character model, with his fantastic detail and pose made me want to paint the figure.  From the purposeful stride to the flowing cloak this model is amazing.  I decided to replace the sword [which is a bit too small] with a large hammer that can be used as either a thunder hammer or power weapon.  More pictures can be found here.  If you are interested in this unit please send me an e-mail.*$200 USD*

ALDERAN CRANE WARRIOR
It seems that no matter how the Rackham sculptors pose their models they look good.  This hand on the pommel pose is very effective at getting across the sense of relaxed prowess.  This undead warrior looks very capable of taking down anyone that gets in his way.  Since I have not done a lighting effect piece in some time I decided to make his sword glow with an evil red light.  I then decided to do a secondary colour to the outside of the red effect not unlike the effect used in comic books.  The blue works so well at accentuating the red and allows a good fade into the real colours of the model.  More pictures can be found here*$270 USD*

MASTER of CARNAGE
Another brilliant model from Rackham.  The style that has been stressed in the relatively simple sculpt is fantastic.  He looks like he is stalking his opponent without any thought as to his own safety.  This sense of confidence is what drew me to the model in the first place.  I painted him standing atop two rocks that are amid a glowing green liquid.  I used the liquid as a source of light for the model giving him a strong under glow.  Due to the pose I was able to justify leaving his outer arms un-illuminated.  This allowed me to emphasize the nature of the source of light.  This More pictures of the model can be found here. *$310 USD*  *SOLD*

Dwarven Cleric

This dwarf model is one of the best I have ever seen.  In fact, this model and the female dwarf from Chainmail are tied in my opinion as the best dwarves.  This model is so full of character and power that it basically painted itself.  The hammer he is wielding was painted to look like it has internal heat.  This ties in with the anvil he has on his back, a walking forge so to speak.  You will notice that I did his armour with metal paint [gasp ;)].  IMHO, metal paint always has a place and I wanted his armour to look very shiny so for me this was a good choice.  More pics can be found here.  If you are interested in this piece send me an  e-mail. *$110 USD*   *SOLD*

GERZAKIK RED AXE

This fantastic ork model was a treat to finally paint.  After waiting three years I knew exactly how I wanted him to turn out.  His pose works perfectly with the squig on the base, commanding his toothy pet to 'fetch' his opponent.  His huge mouth has got to be the best part of the model and is what originally attracted me to the figure.  He has the perfect green skin physique and is a testament that 'green is mean'.  More pictures can be found here.  If you are interested in this piece send me an e-mail. *210 USD*  *SOLD*

The WHITE DWARF

The White Dwarf is a limited edition model that is made to represent the special character of that name.  As you can see he is a dwarf that appreciates a large drink of beer after a hard days fight.  I found the beer in the helmet to be one of the most characterful things that GW has ever done for a model.  I also really liked the way the axe rests on his shoulder, due to the head being a separate piece.  I placed him on a narrow rock ledge to accentuate the model and add to his reckless nature.  More pictures can be found here.   If you are interested in this piece send me an e-mail. *170 USD*    *SOLD*

Eldrad, Defender of the Faith and Champion of Good

This model represents my character, Eldrad.  He is a paladin of Helm [Forgotten Realms god] and has undergone a number of changes since he was last painted by Darcy Schiller [see Guest Gallery].  This model was a total experiment in colour and lighting.  He turned out very well and is bright, even for me.  His sword glows with the holy light of a holy avenger and his shield glows with the divine protection of his god.  The model is Confrontation with Glade Rider wings [from GW] and a sculpted cloak to tie it together.  This model is for sale only because Eldrad underwent a dramatic change and the model no longer works for the character.  More pics can be found here.  If you are interested in this piece send me an e-mail*$200 USD*  *SOLD*

Vulture Attack Craft

This has got to be the largest vehicle I have ever painted.  The model is just huge!  I went with a realistic desert warfare scheme that turned out very well.  Each panel is worn and has internal plate highlights just like a historical model.  The only bit of metal paint was on the hydraulics of the landing gear under the wings.  The rest is done in a flat grey so as to not reflect light.  The cockpit is painted with great care and detail, unfortunately I didn't take pics prior to inserting it into the hull.  The model comes with a display base, seen here and a round Plexiglas base for play.  The display base was done to a historical standard and looks like a real bombed out section of road.  More pics can be found hereInquire for Price.  If you are interested in this piece send me an e-mail.       *SOLD*

Shany's L'ombre

This model is a limited edition Confrontation model.  It is an executioner character for the Griffons.  The pose is very unique, implying a smooth easy running motion.  The fact that she is double handing the sword in a kind of prayer grip is unique [I think].  I went with a total theme on this model, moon light.  She is done in greys were the light has washed out the colour and contrast of the model and where she is not illuminated by the moon she has her real colours.  A very cool model.  More pictures and comments can be found here.  If you are interested in this piece send me an  e-mail. *$180 USD               *SOLD*

Mordian Fire Forge Super Heavy Tank [VDR]

Fire Forge Super Heavy Tank side smaller.JPG (60025 bytes)This massive front line battle tank is an essential component for any large game.  It has a Battle Cannon in the turret with twin linked co-axial heavy bolters, a demolisher cannon in the hull and either 6 lascannons or 2 gattling lascannons on either side.  To see the datafax and more pictures click here.  It is really only a modified Bane Blade and it is even the same size!   $200 USD          *SOLD*

Reaper Templar Knight

The lighting effect on this model is truly awesome to see IRL.  The depth of the blues and the glow of the flame on the armour make this model a top notch display piece.  More pictures can be found in here If you are interested in this piece send me an  e-mail.  *$180 USD*                *SOLD*

Grimjaw Bonecrusha'

I have had this model completed for some time now and I have decided to sell him.  He has been coated three times with semi-gloss varnish and then twice with flat Testors Dulcote.  He is game ready and or perfect for display since he is loaded with orkish detail.  The violence of the model is captured perfectly on the scenic battle base.  More pictures can be found in  here.   If you are interested in this piece send me an  e-mail. *$240 USD*                *SOLD*

Zieren

A continuation of the desert style bases seen in Kalyar except I was able to add stratification due to the rock size.  I was able to use such a large rocky base because of his hunched over pose.  He really looks like he is looking out over a desert from on high.  As you can see he is not your ordinary wolfen.  Well, the story behind this figure is that he is the Devourer god of the sun.  You see, sitting atop the tallest mesa in the vast desert of red sand sits this eternal figure.  He is easily the height of 100 wolfen and it is death to be within even 5 leagues.  Each devourer burns with a small portion of his fire and this is why the devourers love to destroy and kill.  His massive halberd gleams with a brightness that projects his radiance and heat to all corners of the world.  He is Zieren the God of Rage, Lord of the Undying Sun.  More pics of the model can be found here.  If you are interested in buying this piece please send me an e-mail here.   *SOLD*

Kalyar the Awakened

Awakened front left bright.jpg (52800 bytes)This model is so menacing!  I just love the hunched over stalking pose.  I went with an American Southwest look to the base, with rounded red stones, sand and a cactus.  I did his armour in what seemed like a 100 layers of red to achieve the smooth blend.  The blades were done in a crystal scheme vs the standard NMM so I could try something new.  I am very happy with the blades and was able to develop another interesting weapon technique.  It has also been a while since I did muscle striations and so I figured they would be perfect for this model.  More pics can be found here.

Space Wolf Predator Annihilator

Predator Right.jpg (48443 bytes)This tank is painted in a more natural and historic fashion.  While it is hard to achieve a realistic look with acrylic paints it can be done.  It has been airbrushed and then line highlighted to bring out all the great angles.  I then weathered it with paint streaks and rust.  All in all I am very happy with the way it turned out.  More pics and a write-up can be found here.  If you are interested in buying this piece please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details. *SOLD*

=I= Genestealer

=I= Genestealer front.jpg (42963 bytes)This model is a scratch sculpt and was done for an =I= campaign.  He is a terror in HtH and is an opponent worthy of even a space marines respect.  The model combines both highlighting and line textures along with matte and gloss varnish.  More pics can be found here If you are interested in buying this figure please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details. *SOLD*

LoTD Sgt. Centerous

Sgt_centurius.jpg (42836 bytes)This is one of the model I submitted to Brushworks as a sample of my work.  It emphasizes the dark gothic feel of the LoTD and is actually quite a scary model.  The figure itself is the ultra rare LoTD Sgt figure and I have added a skeleton for a banner and grasping hands and skeletons on the base.  These features were added to relate the mysterious character of the chapter, are they dead or are they alive?  The model is a trifocal with the upraised skull, Sgt. head and sword moving the eye around.   If you are interested in buying this figure please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details.  *SOLD*

Griffon Inquisitor

Phyaclese Front.JPG (32664 bytes)This Griffon Inquisitor for Confrontation is a figure I had a lot of fun with.  Having never painted a Confrontation figure before this I had very little to go on.  I went with stark contrast between the face plate and the armour as well as sharp highlights of the robes.   The sword is done in such a way as to emphasize the power of the figure.  If you are interested in buying this figure please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details.    *SOLD*

Grynus the Undying Terror

Grynus Front.JPG (60039 bytes)The chaos lord figure is one of my favorites for basing conversions.  The pose is very striking and powerful and the conversion possibilities are endless.  This figure is painted in such a way as to fit into most chaos forces as a unique leader.  His wargear combination is lethal in HtH and looks sweet on the figure.  The banner is done in the dark tongue from the old Realm of Chaos books lending to the power of the figure.  Last but not least is the collection of skulls on the base to create a fully playable diorama.  If you are interested in buying this figure please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details.  Pics for eBay auction here.    *SOLD*

Khorne Lord

Khorne Lord .jpg (51095 bytes)This figure was done for USGD 2001, and while it is of extremely high quality it didn't make the first cut.  I always envisioned a lord of khorne deploring any kind of balistic weapon so I gave him an Axe of Khorne and additional HtH weapon.  The look of two axes combined with the pile of skulls on the base is how a true lord of Khorne should look.  If you are interested in buying this figure please send me an e-mail so we can discuss the details.   *SOLD*

Sanguinary High Priest

BA High Priest.JPG (77347 bytes)This figure is a Sanguinary High Priest for the Blood Angels.  I wanted the pose to be very dramatic and went for a preaching/sermon look.  The armour is not red as is standard with Blood Angels but white as befits a priest/apothecary.  The robes are done in a brooding red to tie into a Blood Angel army better.  As most of you, that play 40K, know this war gear combination on this figure is truly nasty.
