GRIFFON WARBAND for CONFRONTATION

CHARACTERS
To really bring home the adventuring nature of the band in its crusade against evil Saphon the Preacher was chosen as one of the characters. While he does have the most armour of any in the band he also has the look of a hardy adventurer that is always questing. The Hunter of Darkness was chosen since he embodies the tireless search against the forces of evil. He also fits perfectly with the Sleepy Hallow theme, seemingly being designed around that concept during his sculpt. The last character chosen was the Magistrate of Griffon, a very colonial looking model and perfect as the leader of the band. More pictures can be found here.

MUSKETEERS
These models have never really called out to me to be painted but in designing the band they just fit so perfectly. In the end I am very happy that I did paint them because they are fantastic models. The life they have in their clothing and the character they have in their poses makes them a great part of this band. More picture can be found here.

THALLIONS
These models were always figures I desired to paint. Their aggressive yet stealthy poses combined with their flowing cloaks have always been appealing. They wear a fair bit of armour but it easy to miss because of their massive cloaks. More pictures can be found here.
