Griffon Inquisitor

This model is another test of object lighting.  The effect turned out to not be as dramatic as the Reaper knight for one major reason, the model has such a center point that the light doesn't carry over to the right side of the model.  This gives the model almost a duality in its look.  However, to look at the effect side of the model you can see that I more fully applied the source lighting colour.  This felt 'odd' when painting but the lack of contrast and colour makes the effect solid.

My 'soft' transitions from the light colour are completly lacking except on the sword right below the blade.  This is because I wanted to emphasize the duality of the sculpt once I realized I was going to have it as a factor.  In future I will soften the edges where the light could be diffuse.
