Ash Waste Special Ops Snipers

The models were painted in the dark blue common among urban rapid response teams around the world. I did their fatigues in 4 tone grey as concrete/city rubble cammo. I then did the silhouette break of their rifles and their head shrouds in a cammo that works with the base colour. The model shooting the rifle braced on the beam is called 'Ace' with his sign on his helmet.

The two conversions were done by clipping and grinding off the arms, gun and chest of both storm troopers. I then used the sniper rifles from the two Vindicare models to pose the new snipers. I then resculpted the chest plate, added details from the Catachan sprue and rescupted the arms. Once I was finished I added the cammo to the guns and their upper backs to tie them into their base. The one with the rifle resting on his hip has the sight piece from the Space Marine lascannon as a monocular. The other model had to get a brace point for such a huge gun and so I placed an I beam on his base for just such a purpose.
