ARCHIVED HISTORY FOR 2004
December 28,
2004
Happy Holidays to everyone. I have been so busy with travel and the
season that I have neglected to post any updates here. I should have all
the Space Wolves done around the 1st of January. That will mean a huge update of
finished models for Gallery VI. After that I will be working on a Grey
Knights Dread, the Ltd Space Marine veteran and some Confrontation Orcs.
Should see lots of updates in the early part of the new year.
December 11,
2004
I have added nine more Space Wolf Models to
Gallery VI. They are the six wolf scouts, two wolf guard and the rune
priest. It will now be some days before I update on the main page since I
am now doing the troops and suspect they will take a few days. :)
December 7,
2004
I am now done the other three vehicles for the Space Wolf army.
They are another rhino a dreadnought and a speeder. You can find them in
Gallery VI.
December 7,
2004
I am finally done five of the vehicles for the Space Wolf army. I
still have to decal them but that will not change their appearance overly much
at this point. They can be found in Gallery VI.
Also, incase you didn't know I have been posting to the
Space Wolf BLOG pretty regularly. If you
see that nothing is going on on the home page try the BLOG.
November 16,
2004
Well the past few days have seen a bunch of movement on the Space Wolf
army. In case you missed it you can click the above Space Wolf BLOG link
to see more. I have finished the first figure for the army, Skoll Hurgan.
He is a massive wolfguard, at least 50% larger than his brothers. You can
see finished pictures in Gallery VI.
November 11,
2004
This is a major update for the site. I have finished the Emperor vs
Horus diorama after quite some time. Pictures can be found in
Gallery VI. I have also started the first of
the large updates for the Space Wolf army BLOG.
I have added some background for the army as well as some pictures of the
initial builds. I hope to have daily posts with occasional multiple posts
in the same day. Expect this to take approx 5 weeks.
November 1,
2004
Well, I am still working on the diorama and it will likely be another
week before I start the Space Wolves.
On the 19th I announced a contest where you had to guess the correct head for my
latest model. I had a solid response of 143 entries. The prize was a
painted model of your choice. Well, look
here for the correct answer
and the top 5 answers in the contest.
October 22,
2004
Well I've gotten a bunch of guess on the head for the commissar. A
few are even correct. I think when the
CONTEST is over I will also post
the top 5 guess, pretty diverse group of actors that is for sure.
I will be starting to add items to the
Space Wolf section of the site in preparation for
the Nov. 3 start date. I have added the army list for starters and some
notes on purchasing the parts of the army.
I am working on an Emperor vs Horus diorama right now. It will be
done just before I start on the wolves. So, other than the occasional
Space Wolf post there will not be any picture updates for a week or more.
October 19,
2004
I have added the Inquisitor scale commissar to
Gallery VI and to the Sculpting Gallery.
He is pretty converted from a Kal Jerico figure. I am also going to do a
little contest associated with this model. Check it out
here.
I have had an overwhelming response on the
issue of the Space Wolf army tutorial. It seems as though many of you that
check my site would like this and so I will try to make it happen. A few
of you even mentioned a BLOG, I dunno if I am up to that level of updating but
it is interesting. You will find a new link on the left of this page
called, Space Wolves. It is where future
developments will be found for the army. It should be a few weeks yet for
the army to start in earnest but I will post progress reports before then.
October 14,
2004
Well, no pictures at this time but an update non the less. I have
almost finished building/sculpting my 40K single entry for '05. I am
beyond happy with it. I will likely wait a month or two to paint it but at
least the conceptual part is done.
In other news, I should have an Inquisitor
scale commissar done in a few days. So check back soon to have a look.
I will be building and painting a new army
for the month of November and likely some of December. It is a 2000pt
Space Wolf force. Not sure if I should do an army tutorial or not.
It would take a lot of time in addition to the work on the army but might prove
fun. What do you think? Would you be interested in an army tutorial,
or at least a day by day account with pictures? Write me
here to let
me know.
October 9,
2004
Two new Space Marine models are up in Gallery
VI. Both are painted like Crimson Fists. The first is the
Emperor's Champion and the second is the Gamesday Marine from a few years back.
October 5,
2004
I have now finished the Blood Angels commander, Lord Dante. His
armour was done in a gold NMM and this makes him look very bright. He can
be found in Gallery VI.
September 30,
2004
There are two new models in Gallery VI.
They are both GW special characters, Arhiman of the Thousand Sons and Drazhar,
Master of Blades. They both see me return to a style that I have not used
in a few years. They both feature strong abrupt highlights common in most
of the GW studio figures. In fact, both models were done based on models
that have seen publication in WD. So, if they look similar to something
you have seen in the past, well, they are. Of course I, like most painters
do not normally do copy work since it is generally unfulfilling. However,
I am trying to relearn old techniques and wish to tighten my pallet some.
These models, and a few more in the pipe are a 'learning' tool for me. No
matter how good you get [or think you get] it is always a good idea to give
yourself many learning opportunities. I rarely apply this principle in
such a major way but I have found it to be a great learning experience.
September 25,
2004
I have added two more figures to Gallery VI.
They are both confrontation figures, Arkeon Sanath as a Scorpions standard
bearer and Sardar Tillius.
I am unsure what is next on the agenda but
check back in a few days to see if I have new models on display.
September 21,
2004
I have finished the group of five Griffon High guards and they are up in
Gallery VI. They have lighting and counter
lighting done in a comic book style like I did on
Eldrad in Gallery V.
September 13,
2004
Again it has been a while since updates. I have been busy painting
and doing 'real life' things over the past few weeks and only found the time
today to update. I have finished three new models for
Gallery VI. The first is the Ork Squigoth
from Forgeworld. What a crazy model, awesome sculpt and challenging to
paint. I also did the Elemental of Darkness from Rackham and an Emperor's
Champion statue.
I should have the Griffon High Guard done
in a few days and I promise to update once they are finished.
I have finally settled on the lights that
I am using to paint under. I found the 2 daylight fluorescent bulbs to be
too blue and the 2 regular fluorescent ones to be too yellow. So I have
combined them, one of each and the effect is just perfect for me. I'd
recommend the daylight bulbs for sure but if you find they are too blue try
replacing one with a regular one.
August 27,
2004
Umran Kal is now up in Gallery VI.
Enjoy.
August 24,
2004
I
have two new lights to paint under now. They are 90w equivalent
daylight fluorescent bulbs. Very pure whitish/blue light instead of the
yellowish light from conventional bulbs. I think that I will go out and
get 100w equivalent bulbs today just to see if there is a difference. I
will paint with then for a number of days and then try the regular bulbs again
to see which I like better. On initial exposure I am unsure if I like the
new bulbs but will keep giving them a chance. They are pretty pricey at $8
a piece but they were highly recommended and will last for ever.
Check back in a few days for Umran Kal,
the mounted Confrontation Orc leader.
August 18,
2004
I
am now done with all the text part of the 2004 Golden Demon update.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and have a look back for new models in Gallery VI
very soon.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone
that has sent e-mails of congratulations. I really appreciate the time you
have all taken to write.
August 16,
2004
Pics are up
here. I will have comments on each
piece tomorrow so check back latter in the day tomorrow.
August 16,
2004
Pics will be up soon. I was
working on the site and decided to go get some more sleep without realizing that
it had been updated. Sorry for the delay and I will hurry now. :)
August 16,
2004
CanadaGD is over. What
a whirlwind trip! Toronto and back [3400km away] in 37 hours. 7
hours of sleep in 2 days with one of those nights only being 1 hour was pretty
rough but I had a great time. It was great to meet some of the painters
that I have typed to on the net but never met in real life.
I entered 8 categories, made cut in 7 and
placed in 4. The competition was fierce due in part to the high degree of
talent at the show and also to the limited number of models that made each cut.
More coverage and pictures can be found here.
After I uploaded my Golden Demon pictures
I deleted the camera card and in the process deleted the =I= scale ogryn with
the plasma cannon. Since he is already at his new home I suspect that I
sill not have pics of him on my site now. Suffice to say that he looked
very mean.
August 12,
2004
Well folks I am off for Toronto in the morning. I am sorry to say
that I had to push to the last minute and will not have pics up on my site until
Monday. I am very sorry but I just did not have time. On the up side
I did finish my last entry after 60 hours in 4 days. Needless to say I am
tired and am going to bed. Best of luck to everyone that is going to
compete.
August 4,
2004
Holy cow time has just flown by. What with me painting for Golden
Demon, the great summer weather and some real life thrown in three weeks have
passed since I last updated. Anyway, I am done with the WHFB Single entry
and about a day away from finishing my WHFB Monster entry. The Battle
Scene is built and each piece has been primed and is ready to go. This
piece is still not for sure but I am sure going to try to have it done on time.
My Open entry is also finished. In between all of that I did an =I= Ogryn
and hope to have pics of him up soon.
Since I hover around the computer after a
competition looking for pictures I would like to thank Electric Oceans and CJ
Cummings for providing pics of Chicago. Looks like a great show and I
would like to pass on congrats to all the winners.
So that you will not have to wait to see
my entries until well after the show in Toronto I will have an update ready to
go when I leave. Then I will update from the show with my laptop minutes
after the judging is over. I don't know if I will be able to do more than
that but if I can I'll also send a rundown of the event as well.
July 16,
2004
Been a busy week folks. While I do not have any pictures for you I
thought I'd post a progress report on my GD models. I am almost finished
sculpting on my WHFB Monster entry. In interesting development sees me
using a base from a scrapped '03 model for this years monster. It combines
for a great overall look. In between sculpting sessions I have been
painting on my WHFB single model. I sculpted/built the model in February
and so it feels good to finally paint the model. It is still quite a way
from being finished but the areas that are done look good. It is always
hard to assess a GD model until it is 100% finished but I'd say this one ranks
up there with some of my best work.
I
have to build my Battle Scene and possibly a WHFB unit or maybe an Open
entry...Nice to see that in Toronto there is a Large Model category, wish they
would have had it in Baltimore last year. That means the model that was
slotted for Open can now go into Large Model and I can still do an Open entry.
Bases
and plaques have been ordered and should be done by the 1st of August.
So,
for a final list of entries it is looking like: 40K single, 40K Vehicle, WHFB
Single, WHFB Monster, Battle, Lord of the Rings Single. Add to this
possible entries in Open and or WHFB Unit time permitting.
July 13,
2004
Well folks it is not Saturday as I had hoped but better late than never,
eh? Karl Franz, the emperor of the Empire for WHFB has been added to
Gallery VI.
I
doubt that I will have any pictures up now until after the Toronto Golden Demon
competition on the 14th of August. I will be back home from my whirlwind
trip on the 15th and should have my site updated that night. I will have a
fair number of models for the Golden Demon Galleries at that time.
I have been asked to put up GD work in progress pics and while I would love to I
do not feel that it is prudent.
If anyone is going to Toronto and wants to
get together for dinner on the 14th let me know.
July 9,
2004
I have finished a new wolfen for Gallery VI.
I am now doing the Emperor for the WHFB Empire army. His banner is
finished and has a tonne of free hand work on it. I hope to have him
finished Saturday so check back soon.
July 6,
2004
I
have added two new models to Gallery VI,
Sered the Templar Commander and a SoB Canonesse. Due to the flame lighting
effect on the canonesses power pack I also added her to the
Illumination Gallery. I have two
more models to do before I start on another month of Golden Demon entries.
I will be adding a new wolfen and the Emperor of the Empire in the coming week.
I have now booked my flight and hotel to Toronto and so my attendance is a done
deal.
June 30,
2004
I have been busy doing summer stuff so I apologize for the time between
posts. I have finished Louen the king of Bretonnia astride his hippogryph.
Pictures of the model can be found in Gallery VI.
The next model to be done is the new Canoness for the Sisters of Battle.
Look for her very soon.
June 23,
2004
I have finished two models since I did the giant and they are both up in
Gallery VI. The first is a character model
for 40K based on a Napoleonic scheme and the second is St Celestine.
The Napoleonic character is Inquisitor Darius and he can also be found in the
Sculpting Gallery.
June 17 2004
The chaos giant is now done. Pics can be found in
Gallery VI. A few people have e-mailed and
asked if it was for competition, it is not for a show. While it is
striking my WHFB monster entry is going to be just incredible. Look for
more single models soon.
June 16 2004
The giant that I added to my Sculpting Gallery on the 13th is still being
worked on but I have some WiP pics. Have a look
here. I hope to have finished pics very soon.
June 13 2004
That has got to be one of the longest stretches of no posts in quite a
while. I have been so busy recently but I am happy to say that I now have
some pictures of new models. The Pythia of Azel from Confrontation is now
in Gallery VI. I also have sculpting pics of
the Slaanesh Beast Chaos Giant conversion I will be painting soon in the
Sculpting Gallery. This model is based
on the new Forgeworld Blood Thirster and look fantastic.
On the Golden Demon front I am now done my 40K Vehicle entry and it turned out
way better than I had hoped. People that see it comment that it is my
strongest piece to date. Thanks guys. :)
May 29
2004
I am now finished Golden Demon entry number two and three. I threw
a category in between 40K single and vehicle and I am very happy I did. It
is the first Lord of the Rings model I have painted and while I did find it
small it was a very good experience. The likeness to the actor is uncanny.
40K vehicle is next in the process. It has been based, built and converted
and I am doing the base coating now. Once I am done this model I will be
doing some single models like an 18th century based Inquisitor lord, St
Celestine [what an amazing model! GW really hit this one on the head.],
Louen Leocoeur, Karl Franz and a Wolfen Hunter. If Forge World ever sends
me my Blood Thirster then I will do that model as well prior to returning to GD
models.
May 25
2004
Still no pictures as I am doing competition pieces still. I have
finished my Open model and he turned out very well. It seems every year
that the models just get better and more detailed. I am now almost done my
40K single entry. This model is by far the best model I have ever painted.
The sculpt was done over a year ago and the composition was very solid, looks
like a GW model. The colour pallet used is so varied and yet tight that
the model just jumps up from the table. Gonna be cool once I can finally
show these models.
I will be doing my 40K vehicle/monster
entry next and then I'll be taking a break from competition pieces. So, I
should have new pictures up in early June. :) Thanks for your patience.
I have added two object source lighting
pieces to the For Sale page. They are the
Master of Carnage and the Alderan Crane warrior, both from Confrontation.
May 14
2004
Well, no pictures but an update non the less. I am still working on
my first Golden Demon entry and it is going well. I had a hell of a time
doing the face on the model, at 20mm it was hard to get the skin tone right.
Too olive then too jaundiced and then too pale...and on and on. I had to
reach deep into my bag 'o tricks to even the tone out and come up with a good
final healthy tone. In the end it looks fantastic and so now I have to
finish the golds and the marble and he is done. Sorry to me so cryptic as
to the model but you'll all see what I mean once I post the pictures.
Also, came up with a fantastic Nurgle blend while doing another part of the
above model [which is not Nurgle in the least]. Since I suspect that I
will have a Nurgle entry this year this is quite fortuitous.
May 8
2004
Shaka is now up in Gallery VI. He is
a missive model that dwarfs all of the other Orcs Rackham has done. As I
mentioned below I feel he might be a bit cluttered with 'stuff' but he does look
very cool.
I will be starting my large model entry for Golden Demons Tomorrow. I will
still be doing some other figures but for the most part I will have less posts.
The fellows over at Electric Oceans should be happy that I will be a bit more
dormant.
May 7
2004
I am almost done Shaka, the Orc warlord for Confrontation. I should
have pictures up tomorrow if all goes well. This has got to be one of the
busiest models I have ever painted. It is kind of funny that he has more
stuff to look at from behind than from the front. Maybe, just maybe, they
tried to put too much stuff on this figure...? The busyness aside he is
looking very striking and was a good pallet for some new blends and techniques.
Look for pics tomorrow.
May 4
2004
I
have added Onyx the Prowler to Gallery VI.
I have a few more models to do and then my posts might become infrequent as I
start to do competition pieces. I'll still fit in the occasional model for
Gallery VI but most of my time will be spent behind 'closed doors'.
May 3
2004
In an honest attempt to avoid 'burst updates' I have added a new model to
Gallery VI. The model is the VPC Grave
Guardian I mentioned a few days ago. Pics of Onyx the Prowler will be up
in a few days.
April 30
2004
I have a single new model to add to Gallery VI.
It is the VPC Emissary of Archeron from Confrontation and he turned out out very
rotten while at the same time very tidy. I have a VPC Wolfen on the go and
should have pictures up in a few days.
A friend of mine in Vancouver commented on
my 'burst updates', where I post four or five models and then nothing for a week
or more. Well, I will try to update after every model so that you all have
something new to look at when you come to visit the site.
While I was in Vancouver I was able to
visit a number of hobby shops and game stores. I was impressed by the
painting of the new Witch Hunter models at the Richmond GW store. They
have a pre release model of St. Celestine, and she is a fantastic model IRL.
Another GD competition has come and gone
and I have finally seen the pics on the GW web site. Congrats to all the
winners especially Dirk Finger who is a local guy that made the trip to LA and
won a bronze in WHFB unit. To answer the volumous number of mails I get on
the topic of where I will be attending this year I decided to post a general
reply. I will only be attending the Canadian GD in Toronto this year.
There are a number of reasons for this but the foremost among them is that I
feel it is time that I competed in my national show. This should be my
last GD competition in North America as I should be in Europe this time next
year and will save my entries for GDUK. My entires this year should see me
enter about every category there is. I look forward to stiff competition
from my fellow Canucks as well as visiting artists.
April 27
2004
I have added two Confrontation models to
Gallery VI. They are the Iron Priestess and the Exorcist for the
Griffon faction. The priestess is done in an iridescent scheme and the
exorcist has a lighting effect from his blade.
Next up are some more wolfen, Shaka the
Orc Chieftain and the Emissary of Archeron.
I just got back from a great weekend in
Vancouver where I picked up some new Confrontation models. One is limited
and one was VPC. I have added them to the list of models in the
Contract Work section.
April 19
2004
I am now done the two Escher gang members that I mentioned on the 16th.
They are Mad Donna and a conversion from a Mordhiem model that I call the White
Queen. They can be found in Gallery VI.
April 17
2004
This update sees a major addition to the navigation links on the left of
the page. I have added a new Gallery that separates the models I paint by
manufacturer. The two main companies that the gallery is broken down into
are Games Workshop and Rackham. There is also an 'Other' category that
contains the rest of the models that do not fall into the above two categories.
I started this Gallery with the models found in Gallery III and added them in
chronological order up to and including the models found in Gallery VI.
April 16
2004
I have another Wolfen in Gallery VI.
It is the same model that was added on March 27th but in a different scheme.
I also took a number of in progress [WiP] pictures during the painting of the
model. They are included with stage descriptions of what I did. This
allows you an inside look at the way that I paint for the most part. This
painting description was also added to my Articles
page.
Look for two new Escher gangers over the
weekend and then it is Confrontation as far as the eye can see.
April 13
2004
Well, this update took a long time. More trouble with my ISP,
causing me to loose 10 days of internet. I have been trying to do some
e-mail through web cafe computers and the local university but it has been
difficult to get to all the mail. I will try over the next few days to
catch up. I have had the three models for this update done for some time
but have been unable to update due to my ISP problems. All the troubles
should be fixed.
The three models in this update are an
illuminated Teclis, the blind HE special character and the new Space Wolf Rune
Priest. The can all be found in Gallery VI
with Teclis also appearing in the
Illumination Gallery.
I should have a number of new models over the next few days so look for those.
March 27
2004
The new Wolfen model is now in Gallery VI.
I have been unable to find his English name, in fact I can't seem to find him on
the sites of the web stores I shop at. He is a new release in France this
month so I guess he is too new for release in North America. His French
name is, Rodeur Wolfen.
Looks like the offer to paint the
Forgeworld Blood Thirster has been taken. Thanks to all that replied so
fast. A real testament to the adage, 'The early bird gets the worm.'
March 26
2004
I have just seen the new Blood Thirster from
Forgeworld. Crazy, mean,
violent and huge. It is not out until the end of April but I should have
one shortly there after. If someone wants to pre-commission this bad ass
model drop me a line
here.
Thanks for the heads-up about the model ES.
March 26
2004
I have added the three human forms of the spasm warriors from the
Barbarian range for Confrontation. They can be found in
Gallery VI. One of the models, the female
one, has a ground based source lighting effect and so can also be found in the
Illumination Gallery.
The new wolfen model will be up tomorrow.
March 22
2004
I was doing so well with the quick updates and then a 10 day break in
posts. I have, however, been busy and have two new models in
Gallery VI. A Slann Mage Priest and a new
Bretonnian Lord on steed.
In the coming weeks look for loads of
Confrontation models including many of the newer models from that range.
March 12
2004
What is this? Another update so soon. I have been working on
a Warjack from the Iron Kingdoms game for a bit now. It is called the
Defender and man is it ever cool. The broad plates make for ideal mini
canvases so to speak. The model can be found in both
Gallery VI and the
Illumination Gallery.
March 11
2004
I have added another Ltd. Dark Elf Standard Bearer to my galleries.
This one was done using a deep rich green not common in my work. The green
makes for a bright and yet at the same time brooding model, quite an interesting
effect. The model can be found in Gallery VI.
I have also added a base for a Slann Mage Priest to my
Sculpting Gallery. The base has some
GW stone bits combined with vines and jungle leaves for a ruined jungle look.
The actual Slann will be added to Gallery VI pretty soon so keep checking back.
March 4
2004
This update sees quite a few pictures added to Gallery VI. The
three models mentioned in the last update are done and they turned out great.
The sculpts for the Escher models look solid after all this time and because of
this they paint up well. The Bret Lord was a pretty serious undertaking
and I am happy that he came out so well. As I painted him I came up with a
little bit of history for the model and it can all be found in
Gallery VI.
February 27
2004
The manticore I added to the sculpting gallery on the 22nd is now
finished. You can see him in Gallery VI.
The next models in Gallery VI will be a Bretonnian lord on a Pegasus and two
heavy weapons Escher gangers. Look for them soon.
February 23
2004
The models I wrote about yesterday are now up. The manticore and
dark elf noble are in the Sculpting Gallery
and the Alderan Crane Warrior is up in Gallery VI
and the Illumination Gallery. The
illumination of the Crane warrior is a bit different since I did a secondary
colour to the effect that makes for a much more dynamic effect. The
manticore will be the next painted model in Gallery VI and should prove to be
quite a piece when I am finished.
February 22
2004
I have been pretty busy and will be adding a manticore conversion to the
Sculpting Gallery and an undead model from Confrontation to the Illumination
Gallery tomorrow. I also fixed the link to Gerzakik Red Axe above, thanks
for the heads-up.
February 16
2004
The Dragon Rune ork is in Gallery VI and
has been painted as a WHFB ork. This
model was been on my to do list since I saw it in 2001. I was amazed that
a minor sculpting company could turn out such a fantastic ork and I tried to get
my hands on him right away. It turned out that the company was in Spain
and their distribution was pretty poor and as a result New Wave never got any of
this model. I guess the company went under and retired their molds at some
point but seemingly that was for the best. The molds were purchased by a
company in the US if memory serves and they set about casting and distributing
them. So, after a long wait I finally have this massive ork on my site.
February 12
2004
The rare White Dwarf is now up in Gallery VI.
I am unsure if the model was released in North America but I know it was
released in France and Australia as a limited edition figure. I picked
mine up from a fellow in France a few months back and I am happy I did.
The next model in Gallry VI will be the Dragon Rune Ork.
February 10
2004
Well I am actually going to post a model when I said I was going to. :)
The Bretonnian lord is finished and he turned out great. He is in
Gallery VI. Look for a massive ork warboss
and the elusive White Dwarf coming soon.
February 9
2004
No models today but a Bretonian General will be up tomorrow in Gallry VI
and on eBay shortly there after. I was just posting to say thanks to the
shark like attack of the Eldrad model that I put up for sale yesterday. He
was gone in 30 minutes and I have had no less than 12 inquires in the past day.
Pretty cool. He is a great model and it is a fitting tribute to a great
character that so many wanted to purchase him.
February 8
2004
I finally have an update. I apologize for the
long delay between posts recently but life has kind of gotten in the way.
A recent move combined with a nasty cold a car accident and a week without
internet have taken a serious toll on my productivity. That is not to say
that I have been idle it is just that I have not been churning out models in the
past month. This update brings a very cool Vampire Counts display with a
Lord, Thrall and Wight Lord. The display is my first attempt at scenic
display terrain and I am pretty happy with it. Pictures can be found in
Gallery VI.
I recently acquired a new camera for taking digital images. It is a Cannon
Coolpix 2100 and it is a vast improvement over the Coolpix 800 I was using.
While I am still learning the lighting settings I am sure that this instrument
will serve me well for a number of years. It is also very small and as
such is great for traveling with.
I have added two models to my For Sale Page, the
Winged Confrontation Griffon conversion and Blotus, Champion of Nurgle.
Also, the friend that I sculpted the Greater Demon of Slaanesh [Gallery IV] for
got 2nd overall at the Vancouver GT. GW has pictures of the painted
model on their site under the Vancouver GT heading. If you are interested
to see how he painted it then have a look for the model.

Well, after some web site issues I can now update again. Who would
have thought that I'd hit my 80Mb space limit? Not I! Anyway, I
doubled my space and so should have enough room for a couple more years. :)
During the time I was figuring out the website space issue with my host I have
finished 3 models for Gallery VI. They are Coteaz the Inquisitor Lord from
GW, the Sacred Vestal and the new Grave Guardian from Confrontation. Look
for these models in Galley VI.

Happy New Year! Sorry I have yet again left the update so long but
I was away for the holidays for a bit and have been working on a pretty big
model. I have finished my first dragon in a number of years and he is the
first model up in Gallery VI. For the most
part the model is stock except for some additional building to integrate the
wings better and some alteration to the wing structure.
I have added one last model to Gallery V. My CCIV model. This model
was done for the Chick Painting Challenge and turned out very well.
Unfortunately the picture size requirements and the darkness of the pictures
prevented the model from being seen in detail. She can be found
here.
