ARCHAON LORD of the END OF TIME

I went with the muscle striations on the steed. I felt this was the best way to impart the strength of the sculpt as well as highlight the black so it looked black. The cloak was done with a mix of black and Black Red [Vallejo] blended up in 20+ layers of gradual reds. It was then lightly shadowed with purple to bring up the natural reds. The armour was done in a bronze NMM [sky-earth adaptation] that worked very well for the harsh lines of the armour. The only bit of sculpting was on the base. I wanted to extend the lava like rocks of the original to cover the entire base.
