Emperor's Champion [New]

I am still waging a battle with myself over the application and the effect of Sky-Earth metals.  This model sees the largest application of the effect for me to date. While I am not jumping up and down with joy over the end effect it is striking and the amount I learned was well worth the effort.
Mixing the browns to achieve gold is a fine art that even I get a touch 'off' with.  This model is a bit on the tan/brown side vs the yellow/white-brown side...not something I am worried about just thought I'd throw it in.  The biggest thing I grasped with this model is that while Sky-Earth metal reflects the ground it must also do justice to the over-all lighting source.  So combining the reflection of the ground with the light sourcing is something I now need to focus on to make this effect really work.

Note: The banner top is from the Empire Knights reg. box set, the banner is from the High Elf Silver Helms command blister, the back pack is from the old champions model and the base is from the Khorne Lord for WHFB [yes, I really like the base!]
