These pictures show the transformation from basically Catachans with marine torsos to veteran Space Wolf scouts. The Catachan heads were perfect in every way for this task. The scars and the stern look is exactly what I imagined when I thought of using the Catachans With the addition pelts, hair and or beards and mustaches these imperial grunts became Space Wolves.

This set of shots shows Brother Makuh howling the eerie battle cry of this veteran unit. Brother Hallr [my favorite] as he blasts away with his bolt pistol. Brother Roneth, the melta specialist.

This set shows Brother Ari also depicted in a battle howl. Brother Orn, the longest serving member in the battle group. Brother Ulfr, the silent watcher.

FINISHED:

These shots show the finished wolf scouts. While their armour is dark and will contrast nicely with the rest of the force they are not dark models. There are a lot of various colours and tones on these models that make them stand out as veterans.

In these closer shots you can see some of the iconish blood swirls on the chain swords. I do not like blood on weapons but I wanted to portray the violence stylistically and chose the red swirls.

This picture is of the scouts and their wolf guard Brother Vidar. They all really work well together and should look great on the table.
